The Home Fashions Product Association (HFPA) and HTT are joining forces to co-host the event, which will take place at the Harvard Club of New York City on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

The HFPA Foundation is fundraising to support its scholarship program, which provides scholarships to students enrolled in surface design or home product marketing courses at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).

HTT is celebrating the in-person return of its annual Trailblazers & Titans awards, which will honor two retail companies and two supplier companies. Previous honorees include Bloomingdale’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, Big Lots, Boll & Branch, Casper, Malouf, RevmanTrident, Pegasus, Wayfair, Welspun, and WestPoint Home.

The lively two-hour evening event will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, the introduction of FIT’s home fashions program students, and the presentation of HTT’s 2022 Trailblazers & Titans honorees.

All ticket sales will benefit the HFPA Foundation’s scholarship program.

2021 Titans

Big Lots: Marking its 40th anniversary next year, Big Lots has evolved from its original close-out format into a dynamic, strategically focused discount retailer offering an extensive assortment of brand-name items and quality products. Pegasus Home Fashions: The family-run business started modestly in the early 1990s, selling sharply discounted pillows in the New York City area. In the 2000s, Pegasus began steadily ramping up its business, expanding is U.S. operations and its product line. Today, the company has five manufacturing facilities as well as a portfolio of owned and licensed national brands. Its assortment spans bed pillows, memory foam, quilts, bedspreads, blankets, throws, sheet sets, decorative pillows, chair pads, pet beds, furniture protectors, protectors and mattress pads sold across major retail channels.
